Josef Komlodi is a highly accomplished and experienced professional soccer player and coach. With an impressive career spanning several countries and leagues, Josef has showcased his exceptional skills and dedication to the sport.

Starting his professional journey at the young age of 18, Josef played in the top division of Romanian soccer for esteemed clubs such as FC Baia Mare, Universitatea Cluj, and FC Oneşti. During his time in Romania, he honed his craft and established himself as a formidable player.

In addition to his playing career, Josef has also made significant contributions to coaching and education in soccer. He holds a degree in education with a specialization in Soccer & Coaching and possesses various coaching licenses and diplomas, including UEFA Soccer “A” Licence, USA Soccer “A” Licence, NCCP Level 3 Coaching, and CSA National “B” Licence.

As a coach, Josef has an extensive background working with different age groups. He spent 10 years coaching at Erin Mills Soccer Club, where he guided teams born in 1993 and 1995. Under his guidance, these teams achieved remarkable success, winning multiple Ontario Cups and OYSL titles. Josef’s coaching prowess was further recognized with a national championship and a second-place trophy at the Canadian Nationals with the 1995 boys’ team.

Josef’s expertise extends beyond the Canadian soccer scene. He has played in Hungary and Germany, enriching his knowledge of the game and gaining valuable experience in different football cultures.
